WORK ENVIRONMENT:

We are a remote first company with the exception of a few positions being onsite in our designated locations. The positions which are remote you will need to be able to travel a few times a year. You may be required at times to visit client sites or attend meetings at designated locations with your team members.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Nymbus is seeking a talented iOS and Android Mobile Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of mobile applications or both iOS and Android platforms. Working collaboratively with software developers and project managers, you will analyze user requirements, contribute to UX design, implement logic and designs, integrate with backend systems, and establish continuous integration and continuous delivery processes for app builds.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Contribute to the architecture of projects, ensuring alignment with user requirements and adhering to industry best practices.
  • Proactively provide and implement recommendations to enhance the quality and stability of our applications, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement.
  • Analyze user requirements for effective implementation and contribute to UX design for intuitive interfaces.
  • Implement designs and logic using iOS and Android programming languages.
  • Integrate mobile apps with backend systems, ensuring seamless functionality and data exchange.
  • Establish continuous integration and continuous delivery processes to streamline app builds and deployments.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in both iOS and Android development.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with the development team, project managers, and stakeholders.
  • Maintain code quality and documentation, following best practices and coding standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven work experience as a mobile developer, with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in iOS and Android app development.
  • Proficiency in iOS programming languages such as SwiftUI and Android programming languages.
  • Strong familiarity with the software development life cycle (SDLC) and experience working with agile methodologies.
  • Solid knowledge of accessibility standards and designing ADA Compliant applications for both iOS and Android platforms.
  • General understanding of algorithms and data structures, enabling efficient and optimized code implementation.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking and sound judgment to solve complex problems, while maintaining a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, allowing effective collaboration within the team and with stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work in a collaborative environment, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and fostering a positive team dynamic.
  • eMobility experience is a plus, showcasing an understanding of emerging trends and technologies in the mobile industry.

Salary & Benefits:

  • $100,000 – $110,000 Annual Salary
  • Annual Cash Bonus and Equity Options commensurate with the role level and experience
